Mel has been part of the Planning Institute team since 2005, bringing over 20 years of experience and a genuine passion for connecting people in the planning community. She works closely with the State Manager to bring initiatives to life across Queensland and the Northern Territory, building strong relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, and ensuring operations and events run seamlessly.

Mel loves supporting the planning community, whether it’s through fostering partnerships, coordinating events, or making sure every member feels connected and valued.

When she’s not at work, you’ll find Mel exploring the outdoors with her white shepherd, Gypsy.
